Snapshot/TSC, formerly owned by Mid-Comp International, is systems management software for IBM i, and includes performance and message management features. 

Halcyon Software today announced the acquisition of the Snapshot/TSC technology formerly owned by Mid-Comp International Pty Ltd based in Melbourne, Australia. 

Snapshot/TSC is well-known for systems management in the IBM i (iSeries) community, specializing in performance and message management.   Snapshot Total System Control (TSC) monitors and notifies IT administrators if there are performance problems or application issues that could adversely affect the performance of  IBM i servers.
The software also enables organizations to continuously monitor and report on business critical services and system availability, identifies performance bottlenecks, controls and directs work requests and load balance the systems to avoid issues and improve performance,  The solution also analyzes and plots system trends so that IT administrators can achieve the most cost effective capacity upgrades. 

The Snapshot customer base has an international reach and is supported in the US, Europe and Asia Pacif. 

Halcyon Software specializes in multi-platform systems management solutions which support IBM mid-range systems, including IBM i, AIX as well as Windows, UNIX and Linux platforms.
