ASNA's DataGate for iSeries/400 is a host server for connectivity to the iSeries platform as well as an iSeries-like database for servers and desktops. DataGate for iSeries/400 connects .NET applications directly to the OS/400 DB2 UDB database. When connected to the iSeries/400, DataGate for iSeries/400 provides client applications read/write record-level access, remote program calls to OS/400 program objects, and OS/400 object management.
