Low-cost, compact and scalable version of its market-leading TokOpen document management and workflow system. Called TokOpen Lite, it has been developed to meet price-sensitive market demand, companies looking to trial DM and workflow options and others who want to employ the technology but are unclear of their requirements and need trial different options before committing to a full system implementation. The system is up to 50 per cent lower cost than the equivalent TokOpen system, and provides all TokOpen's optional functionality. Representing a low-risk, inexpensive method of using and evaluating the latest document management and workflow technology, TokOpen Lite is a reduced scaleable version of the highly successful full TokOpen system. All TokOpen optional functions are enabled, including workflow and the TokOpen Indexer module is also included as standard providing automatic indexing and full text searching. TokOpen Lite is differentiated from the full TokOpen system by restricting the number of pages or application files it can manage to 10,000 and the number of named users to 10. It is a powerful argument supporting TokOpen Lite considering companies can upgrade to any configuration of the full TokOpen system, supporting as many users required, at any time and incur no cost penalties. The system addresses the demands of small companies who will seldom exceed the document limit and larger companies who require both a low cost and low risk entry to document management using a single system that can scale to meet their long term enterprise-wide requirements.
