Currently there are series of jobs submitted, same job, by different users. All the users tend to release the job queue as soon as the job gets submitted. The job reads a file, acquiring a lock. The first user who releases the job from the jobqueue, has full access. For the rest of the users, their corresponding jobs fail, i mean, the program bombs there . which should not happen. Please help me in this. The jobs which i was mentioning here is all the same from different sets of users.

For this program to send e-mail the user must be enrolled in the system directory. We have hundreds of users and do not want to enroll them all in the directory, is there a different way to handle this. We are not concerned that the actual 'sender' is identified

I would think that this would be possible by hardcoding a user id that is in the system directory into the USRID parameter on the SNDDST command within the CL program included with the article. I haven't tried this so I can't guarantee that it will work though.
