Hi everyone - I have set up a directory in the root of the IFS to make available for storing files for people on my network that do not have CA/400. I am running V4R4 and this seemed to be working swell. People could use FTP to connect and move data right into the directory. The problem is that I really want NEW files intorduced to the directory to get the same authority that the directory has - which I setup an authority list for. In fact, it even seems to revoke the authority altogether and I find myself re-assigning athority to each file they add!! Has anyone dealt with this? I sure don't see much documentation on this...
