Email from the AS/400

We are using Outlook for our email services... we have several supervisors in the plant that are using dummy terminals... right now we have to send a message through Outlook for the office personel and then turn around and send a As/400 message to the users in the plant... Is there a way to do this in one step..... Thanks for any suggestions

Yes. The Send Distribution (SNDDST)command will send e-mail from the 400 to Outlook or to Netscape mail, etc. I have used this command for several years. See the other thread with SNDDST in the subject line. You need to have an SMTP gateway set up for this to work.
