How to stop users creating files & libraries?

You could *EXCLUDE them from the commands CRTLIB and CRTPF etc...

EXCLUDE refers to the authority to the specific commands not the USRPRF

You could possibly setup a Group Profile that contain these User Profiles and exclude the Group Profile or simply type in each user profile. If you use a Group Profile, you could add new users to the group without having to Edit the Command Authority again. Just as a note, the command to change authorization to an object is EDTOBJAUT.

I'd like to prevent a certain group of users from creating files and libraries, but without removing command line access. I'd also like to prevent them from deleting anything. I'm sure it's something in the user profile, but I don't seem to have found it. Cheers Kate
