Seems that I'm missing an entry in a string table, but I have no idea what its talking about. When I try to uninstall WDT400 so I can reinstall it, it gives me this message when it hits the Distributed Debugger and NetQuestion part. ERRMSG_ENVAR_EXCEEDS_255_CHARS - entry not found in the string table. Anybody ever had this happen to them? Anybody have a clue as to how I can fix this problem so I can finish uninstalling the product? Thanks in advance. Jon N.

The problem was exactly what you told me it was. Seems that the PATH statement of my Autoexec.bat file was too long. Once I cleaned that up and rebooted the uninstaller was able to remove the program from my machine. Thank you for all the help.
As a side note, if you are using Windows ME I found that the only way I could get my Autoexec.bat file to actually use the changes I made was to modify it using the 'msconfig' program. Editing the autoexec any other way didn't seem to affect what the computer was using when it boots.
Thanks again,
Jon N

<haklui@ca.ibm.com> wrote in message news:a2k868$l62$1@news.boulder.ibm.com...
Jon: I assume that this problem has been resolved. The error means that the PATH statement is too long (is your system Win98 or WinME?) and the uninstall program cannot modify it.
