Generating DDS source problem

Can I just clarify as further tests I have carried out indicate that it does save the source or mark a checkpoint and this problem I am experiencing is just a sticky message that is not in any way stopping the save or checkpoint setting...if so then it does seem relatively minor, albeit slightly disconcerting. Also is there anything that can been done to reduce it's frequency or is is just something to live with? Thanks Patrick

Hi Patrick, I think that you will find that you will see it more often with small files on a fast machine where the thread saving the file is done before the dialogue is presented so that the dialogue waits forever for the thread saving the file to end... Does that make sense? One of these days when I have some free time (wot's that?) I might take a look at solving the problem... Thanks Mike... Your explanation matches the situation I am dealing with - small files / fast machine. Know what you mean about free time - speaking of which it's my home time!
