Violaine, Since I just saw you posted a couple of remarks about enhancements for Code, here is one I've wished Code Designer had for a couple of years. I have an application that liberally used Single Choice and Multiple Choice fields. Those are the SNGCHCFLD and MLTCHCFLD keywords. When is Code Designer going to at least be able to display the values from the CHOICE keywords, or will it ever. SDA at least shows those values so you can properly layout the fields on the screen. But Code Designer seems to ignore the CHOICE keyword. Not only does it not show the values, it doesn't even protect the screen space where they will show. It is possible to put a new field where the CHOICEs should show. Or is the reality that Code Designer is "functionally stabilized"? Jerry Camden Paul Mueller Company Springfield, MO

Hi Jerry, I have opened a feedback item in our database for the Designer team. The CODE Designer team is not part of my department, so I unfortunately can't comment on its future functionality. However, I must encourage you and all other users to speak up and keep telling us what CODE features are missing and new function that you'd like to see. By doing this, you help us prioritize and lets face it, as much as I'd like to think we can read your minds :-) , it helps us a lot more to know exactly what you are thinking. Thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE Project Lead Toronto Lab, IBM Canada

<big>Violaine, Thanks for recording my request. Is there some other medium that we should use to get that kind of feedback directed to the proper person/place? I hope it's not those awful old IBM Program Enhancement forms that always wanted us to say the change would save our Co. thousands of dollars. I only hope in this case that the CODE Designer team can see the benefit of having their product be at least as good or better than SDA rather than worse!
