Hi, The TCP/IP Configuration & Reference manual refers to an API that it calls the "Send MIME Mail API", and says that applications can use this API to send mail to the internet. But I can find no information about the API (other than that very brief description) in any of the manuals I've searched. I've tried the on-line API lists, Info Centre, etc., but I still come up with just the one hit that tells me the API exists. Does anyone know where I can find some info on this API? Thanks, Liam.

Yes, you are right, the documentation isn't very good about the send mail api. If you want to use it, you would also have to learn stuff about MIME encoding of emails. I would suggest you tool, with simple apis to do the work for you. Toolmaker Software in Germany provides a tool for sending/receiving emails on the AS400 with some simple APIs called directmail. This will save you a lot of time. www.toolmaker.de
