Time required to remove DASD from an AS/400

I recently removed 4 4gb drives on a single processor model 820. The data was migrated onto 17gb drives. The process took approximately 90 minutes. Each drive was about 80-82% full.

Hello everyone, Has anyone removed drives from their AS/400 disk configuration, migrating the data to the other configured drives? I'm interested in any kind of timing from when someone has done this in the past. For our configuration we have 17 GB drives in an 820 4-way, but any timings (on any system/drive type) is perfect. We have a model 720 and removed 5 9gb drives and replaced them with 17gb drives. To migrate the data off the 5 9gb drives each at about 40% took about 90 minutes
