LDAP Server

I have an 820 operating at V4R5, security level 40. I am trying to use LDAP to share information; but I cannot get the server started. I have read the Redbooks, and carefully followed instructions, but no matter what I try, when I start the server it fails within seconds with a CPE3401 security message. This is non-secured, using port 389. The failure is in module GLDSLSOC at the Socket Init. The Diagnostic message is GLD0101. I would appreciate any help I could get on this. SARA

The problem was with an IFS directory that needed to be authorized to the IBM profile 'QDIRSRV'. The directory was /tmp. Once I authorized this directory, the LDAP server immediately started.
