We have a couple collection jobs scheduled for our production and development boxes. Quite often they will fail and the reason has to do with the Management Central server. In Ops Nav the server shows as "started" but it's not functioning actually. This is confirmed when trying to get into mgt central in Ops Nav and an error message reports it can't do anything for me. Once I stop the "started" servers(there are 2 associated with it) and restart, all is well. The jobs work for a while then the process repeats. Has anyone run into this-and fixed it? I also have another issue dealing with scheduled collection jobs through Ops Nav. When you schedule a collection job in Ops Nav, it also sets up a job in the job scheduler for it, which is fine. When you delete the job from scheduled tasks in Ops Nav though, it doesn't delete the corresponding job that was put into the job scheduler. Why does it do this?
