The emphasis on concentration, has become ubiquitous within many institutions of higher learning. It has reached the point, where a liberal education is considered pointless to many in authority. Consequently colorful colloquialisms pepper professional and casual conversations. It is management that asks "Where you at?" and finds the use of "irregardless" to be appropriate. One rationale is that many in IT management today are not native English speakers. That is not an excuse, but it does set the tone. It is hard enough to obtain business specifications by using a precise and exact means of communications. The difficulty is compounded in the tower of Babel. Dave
