As you know, the free utility HSSFCGI, available from the
www.easy400.net site, allows to easily create Excel workbooks.
On request from some users, in today May 1 2009 release more features
have been added to better support worksheet printing.
As users may recall, some time ago we released a XLSGEN tag <HEADER>
that allowed to generate print headers and footers. This tag, though
still available, has been superseded by the following.
Three new keywords have been implemented for the XLSGEN tag <WORKSHEET>:
1- Keyword PRINT-HEADER is the one replacing tag <HEADER>: it allows to
define a print page header and also generates print footers.
2- Keyword PRINT-ORIENTATION controls page rotation. It can specify
either PORTRAIT or LANDSCAPE.
3- Keyword PRINT-SCALE allows to setup an appropriate scale for
character dimension, so to avoid folding of spreadsheet rows across
print pages.
The above tags are documented at page
