maybe you can check this CHGMODD MODD(QPCSUPP) MAXSSN(512) MAXCNV(512) as I know, the default for MAXSSN was 64 . and if you use more than 64 sessions, there were dropped.

I have a friend that just upgraded their AS/400 to a new 820. On the old system they used Rumba for some PCs and Netsoft Router for others. I talked them into us Client Access and TCP now they are dropping sessions a lot. It appears to only happen when the network gets busy but that is only an assumption. I checked the system values and the TCP/IP keep alive settings. What could we look at? How can we tell what is droping the sessions? The drops are happening on both Rumba and Client Access so my opinion is this is a network or IP value. v3r1m3
