We have a 3rd party performing our Y2K compliance conversion which is about completed, except for testing. I have been assigned to oversee/run the testing phase of our Y2K conversion process. All of our development has been done on a separate, new box, a 170. We will go live on the new box and the converted software whenever this conversion is complete. This 3rd party has said that they have a data conversion tool that will take data from the production box and migrate it into the development box for testing and cutover purposes. This will make batch processes pretty straightforward to test but I am wondering the best way to test on-line transaction screens. My plans right now are to get some key personnel and have them run through their respective processes for about a week or so. Any other suggestions/strategies? Thanks
