We received CPF8B26 (Receiver congestion reported by adapter on line TLIN) during the same period invoicing file updates were being performed. After checking the invoices, we discovered that numerous detail lines were missing from both the spooled file & physical file. The secondary message from this CPF states that Token-ring traffic has increased enough that adapter xxx has sent a congestion report to the ring error moniter (REM). The frame is not copied and the data is discarded when the adapter is in a congested condition. I'm not sure what this message is telling me, but is it possible that any data attempting to be processed was lost due to this congestion? Thanks for any assistance.
