How do I delete from IFS?

How do I delete files and directories from the IFS? (I'm not talking about QDLS.) Most of these that I want to delete were created by a Win95 PC. Network Neighborhood in Win95 will let me delete some of them, but not any with long file names. I've also tried using WRKLNK; either it tells me the folder/directory has objects, or (if I '5=next level' down to the last folder), that the "object is a read-only object". I checked the properties from the "PC side", and it's not read-only. I've also tried using Operations Navigator. I can see the folder, but there isn't a delete option. I couldn't find an answer online anywhere. I tried searching the Softcopy Library, the archives of this forum, as well as numerous places on IBM's site. TIA Tom McArthur
