What actually runs in the System Pools

I have tried to find a manual or document that will tell me what actually runs in the *MACHINE and *BASE machine pools. I do remember being told (a while back) that building of indexes run in *BASE but haven't been able to find manual that gives a breakdown of what runs where. The manual you are looking for is the WORK MANAGEMENT GUIDE. The SC41 number depends upon your release of OS/400. Dave
