Hi Folks; Would anyone if there is a way to change (and compile) a BSC38 type file on the AS400 without having to convert to ICF?? Thanks in Advance. Mauricio Della-Quercia

I have not used BSCFs since S/38 days, but have you tried CRTBSCF in the QSYS38 library? A quick test using CRTBSCF did produce a BSC38 file.

Bruce; That did it!! I was looking for a command on the regular system library...it didn't even occur to me I should be looking in the System 38 libraries. Thanks Bruce I appreciate it. Regards Mauricio Della-Quercia
