Lots of options ... 1. find a GOOD headhunter (a.k.a. recruiter) 2. local newspaper classified ads 3. join a local AS/400 users group and network with other members 4. take an AS/400 related class at a local college (RPG, Java, etc.) and network with your classmates. I found 5 other AS/400 people in the Java class that I am taking. 5. if you know of specific companies in your area, go to their website and see if they have a "job opportunites" page. It should be obvious what machine(s) they are using by reading the job descriptions

Jason, Obviously you have internet access. I would try the following: www.computerjobs.com www.monster.com www.headhunter.com There are probably more that I don't know about, but these have geographic regions of people who are looking for help in your area. A headhunter (placement agency) would have an idea of where the shops are in your area, but then there is the fact that they want to represent you. -bret

Jason, You might also talk to your CE on the sly. He knows of other companies in the area. I don't know what specific area of Delmarva you are investigating, but I do know that in the Wilmington, DE immediate area there are 5 companies, at least. Susan suggested local user groups. I know both the Baltimore and Philadelphia areas have one. We belong to the Philly group called Delaware Valley Common User Group. Good luck.

Go to http://www.dice.com and click on advanced search. Type "400" in the search box; go to the bottom of the page and put in the telephone area codes that you desire. Click on search, and have a party. Dave
