Help !!! We have many remote users & customer using Client Access Express (V4R5). These users are mostly doing data entry. In the middle of processing (after they hit the ENTER KEY), the screen will be "input inhibited" mode and the screen would hang. The user will have to manually disconnect ! The strange thing is.. this doesn't happen all the time. Everything would run smooth for weeks !! then all of a sudden, "some" remote users would get dropped all day long (not all remote users in the same office location has this problem). We have checked all that we can on our side... we think it may be a problem with the PCs ?? or the Internet traffic ? but there isn't really a pattern so far. How can the same user have no problems for weeks and months... and all of a sudden they have problems for 2 - 3 days ? If you have experienced similar problems... and have any tips, I would really appreciate it. Thank you, Julie

Bill, New info. I just talked to the user having the problems. She has both dial-up and DSL connection. After having problems with the sessions dropping (using DSL), she switched to using the dial-up and the problems stopped. Julie

Julie, How is she connected to your 400/Network? VPN, RAS, directly? If VPN, it could be that her ISP does not allow VPN traffic. Some ISP's define VPN traffic as business use and require an upgrade to the account. Bill > I just talked to the user having the problems. She has both dial-up and DSL connection.
