Maybe I'm just not getting some simple concept here. When I go into Operations Navigator and share a folder, nowhere does it have a field to enable a password. But when I go out to map a drive it prompts me for a password! What password? My password doesn't work. Neither does QSECOFR's password. Crazy. Or like I said, maybe its just me. Anyone who has a opinion either way, please let me know. Thank you.

The password asked to access IFS using CA Express is based on the user "leading" your windows session. To find it out, go into your control panel, network and look for your primary network logon. If your Novell logon is used, your novell username will be used to access, and so on for other clients... If the user is not found, you have to allow the Guest login in your IFS configuration. If you do so, be sure that guest has the rights for the shares you want to use, and that Guest is in your Directory entries. Hope this helps, Luc St-Yves, Norampac Div. Drummondville.
