View Full Version : CWBSY1008 error with Client Access Express

I just installed Client Access Express on my workstation and now I can't get a 5250 session with any of my AS/400s. Previously I was using Client Access Windows 95/NT client V3R2M0. I am getting CWBSY1008 (General security error occurred) after I enter my userid and password. I know this is a valid ID and password. What could the problem be?

Did you completely uninstall CA/400 V3R2 before installing CA/Express? Dave

The Client Access Express install indicated that it would uninstall the previous version, so I let it take care of it. I also had the install save and restore all of my configuration set up from the previous version.

I did an uninstall and installed Client Access Express again. Now everything is working fine. I would not recommend letting the Client Access Express install handle the uninstall of the previous version.
