Is there a method to Auto sign on to to the AS400 with CA 95/nt? I have several PC in my manufacturing plant that we would like to make "kiosk" type units. Turn the PC on and thats it, No password prompts at all..

You would have to set up CA/400 with the password stored in cache. You would also place the AS/400 active session within the startup group. Dave

Forgot to mention that the PC are NT4.0 workstations. Does NT cache the passwords? Thought I read somewhere that NT and CA 3.2 have a password cache problem Thanks Steve Wolfe Hufco, Inc

Check out The NT4.0 Resource Kit, It has a utility called run application as service. You can then use a service account for login. There are other application to service utilities available on the web if you don't have the resource kit.
