File Transfer to PC

I have an old (Non DDS) System/36 file that I have been transfering to a PC text file (Asccii text). It's been working fine. Now that I upgraded my PC to Client Access Express everytime that I download the file, it ends up in EBCDIC format even though I select the option to "Translate EBCDIC to ASCII' Is this only happening to me? Is this a known problem? Please help. Jorge.

When you are doing the data transfer click on file on the menu and go to properties, then conversions, then check Convert CCSID 65535. I do not know how you get this to stay as the default.
