Eric, If you are using CA/400 you might have exceeded the number of sessions in Mode Description QPCSUPP. Ours in V3R2 came set to 125. Doug

Hi, Eric. There are two system values two check. 1. Number of virtual devices 2. Initial number of active jobs - when you start Client Access 5250 session, you start two jobs on the 400, if you exceed initial number of jobs, machine creates more with specified increment (system value as well), default is 10. Creating new jobs is very resource intensive process and on client side looks like system "hangs" for a few seconds. Do WrkSysVal command and look around. Regards, Max
