Does anyone have any experience with Client Access not automatically or allowing a TDLC line to config for a twinax connection. I can manually create a TDLC line on only one of my controllers. All other controllers will not allow it to be created. I've got QSECOFR authority, so it's not a security problem. All the auto-create system values are set to ON. I've tried to setup TDLC lines on local and remote controllers with not luck, except for our main CTL01 controller. Is there a config setting on the controllers that will allow or not allow a TDLC line to be created? I've never seen this one before... Help! Thanks, Scott

I'm taking a wild stab here, but if you have Auto-Config on, and you try to create a line that does not exist, Autoconfig will sense that there is no line, and remove it. OTOH, if you physically attach a line with autoconfig on, it should be automatically configured. Dave

I don't believe Lines will autoconfig. Only Devices, and Controllers depending on other values being turned on, i.e., the AUTOCREATE value in a line description.

If you attach a twinax controller to the AS/400, the line has to configure itself, in order for the controller to auto-config. - The controller has to connect through a line. Dave
