I believe your problem is being caused by the value in your HOSTS file located in the WINDOWS subdirectory. We changed the IP address of our AS/400 and had the same problem, name stayed the same and IP address changed. Use notepad to edit the HOSTS file (no extension) and change the IP address associated with the name of your AS/400 to the new IP address. Reboot you PC and you should be able to connect. I believe that IBM is doing something or has done something to fix this problem. Kevin Osterhoff Wis-Pak, Inc.
