According to the COBOL manual, you can use an Environment name, rather than a Mnemonic name on a DISPLAY or ACCEPT statement. Further reading states that the environment name may be SYSTEM-IN or SYSTEM-OUT. Does anyone know if this is the actual SYSIN and SYSOUT needed for CGI programming? Dave

David, Thanks for trying. I was only able to get to a "log in" screen. Can you give me the Reader's Digest version of the answer? Dave
