Sharing Files Via Ops Nav

I was walking someone through setting up share names on the AS400 via Ops Nav. When I had them right-click on a folder, the Sharing option is greyed out. I've never had this happen before. Anyone know how to correct this? Is it a security issue? THAnks, SERENA

I don't know for sure if this will fix the problem or not, since I haven't run into this before, but...go into Control Panel, then Network, then make sure you have the "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" service installed. I know that you cannot share local directories or printers on your PC without that service being installed, so it may be looking for it for OpsNav Shares too.

What user-id was used in connecting to the AS/400? It probably doesn't have *ALLOBJ authority, and is restricted to the folders in question.
