SLIP to ISP?

I am trying to connect to my ISP via a SLIP connection I setup. I can connect fine, and my Username is correctly passed to the remote machine, but when my password is passed to the remote I receive the message " % Authentication failed". I know the password is correct though. Any clues? I am on V4R2 Thanks in advance...

Make sure your user name and password are in the proper case. They are both usually case sensitive.
