We are using an NT machine with Microsoft Proxy Server software to access the Internet. All computers on the local lan use this "proxy" machine for Internet access. Our AS/400 is one such computer. Microsoft Proxy Server includes "firewall" type features that allow me to control external access to machines on our network. My questions: Is this product a good choice for allowing FTP and HTTP access to our AS/400? Does anyone here have experience (good/bad) with it? If it's a good choice, where can I get some good documentation on configuring both the As/400 and the Proxy Server software? And finally, if it's not a good choice, can anyone recommend somthing else? Thanks!
