I have been told to create a Java app that connects to an AS400. From a customers PC through their firewall then through our firewall to our AS400 and get some file info. What kind of problems am I going to have using the AS400 toolbox for say record level access. I mean are the firewalls going to have to leave a port open for this to work? And if they leave 2 different ports open how can this work? Any help or advice on how I can accomplise this will be greatly appreciated.
