I'm able to dail into my AS400(V3R2)using a Windows 95 machine and a Slip session. However, once I connect to the 400, I can't ping it with TCPIP and when I try to create a client access session I get the following errors:CWBC01003 Winsock error function returned 10060CWBC01006 Unable to connect to server mapper port 449 on ImmdepCWBC01016 Connection verify failedTCPIP is started on the AS400 as well as all host servers. Can anyone assist. Also is I make a sucessful connection, will I be able to browse the rest of my network via the dailup?Renrickrazorren@bigfoot.comNassau, Bahamas

Renrick razorren@bigfoot.com Nassau, Bahamas When yuu connects to the AS400, was your user-id and password authenticated? Are you using a script file to connect? The script file is where IP addressing is used, that might be the reason why you cannot do a ping. Once you are sucessfully, you should be able to browse your entire network. You can use the wrktcpptp and display the joblog for more detail regarding your connection. hth.......
