As of V3R2, TCP is already on your system and need only be configured correctly to run. Please refer to the TCP Configuration Manual as an explanation of the tasks involved in TCP configuration would be too lengthy for this forum. Feel free to Email me if you have specific questions. Just trying to keep up....

Does anyone know whether this is true? It's a real pain not to know where the user is coming from physically. <hr> This is true for CA/400 V3M1R3 and above. During the configuration of the session there is a field used to name the device, when the session is started in the future it grabs the same named device. I have not heard if any other of the Emulation packages have written the use for this yet into any of their products. Just trying to keep up.... Hey, Jeff, thanks for the post. I realized when someone else e-mailed me that I should have specified our environment. We use NetManage's Portfolio for our NT clients, and are just beginning to shift them from NWSAA to TCP/IP. We've stumbled into the TCP/IP printing confusion, but I'm beginning to get a handle on that part. After posting this message, I e-mailed Netmanage my query and they immediately sent me a zipped file with a fix, which worked perfectly. Now our TCP/IP clients don't use QPADEVxxxx devices, but device names we specify when configuring the client, the same one every time. Every little bit helps. Thanks again.
