Hi All, I have a PC that is configured for home use and has Client Access version 3.2 installed on it. I have sessions set up in the Connections program to connect to my various AS400 systems. The trouble is that when I start the PC (Windows ME based), it asks for an AS400 username/password for every session. To get around this I've been having to 'Esc' out of each box that comes up or connect via RAS first, then put in a name and password. Can anyone tell me how to get Client Access NOT to try and connect to those sessions when the PC starts up? Thanks, Brian Barton

Brian, Is it possible that you have the "Check Service Pack Level" icon in your startup folder. I know this causes your PC to try to connect to the AS/400 to check if the latest service pack has been loaded. If it is in your startup folder then you should move it to the accessories folder in your Client Access directory.

No, there's only MS Office Startup in my Startup folder. I went in and disabled the function for searching for the service pack as well.

Something in your Autoexec.bat file like the following will also cause this. c:Client Access pathCWBCKVER LOGIN
