We were running client access V3R1M3 on windows2000 pcs, and everything was wonderful. Was also using WinGate to connect same pcs to an internet server. Switched from WinGate to Microsoft Proxy Server2, now none of the pcs will connect to the AS/400. Uninstall proxy server, and pcs will connect again to AS/400 fine. Tried uninstalling client access V3R1M3 and installed client access express, but same problem. With V3R1M3 got error CWBSYS1000. Under express get error CWBCO1003-winsock error, function returned 10060,S102A9FR. Both type of errors reference "winsock" error. Help!!!!

Fred, If I'm not mistaken this is the same problem I had before. You need to install the Proxy Client on each PC that needs to connect to the AS400. Use your explorer and search for the subfolder called MSPCLNT which is located in your proxy server. Double click SETUP.EXE to install the proxy client. That was all I did and it worked fine with me. I hope it helps. Mike

Mike, We think that this is what we did, but we haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Thanks for the info. Fred
