Every once in a while someone will pose the question of direct access to SQL server from the AS/400. Now a company may have provided a more definitive solution. David, I have used ASNA Products since 1983 On the /34 and later the /36. I had RPG/III programming on the /34/36 including structured IF, DO, CAB, LEAVE, etc. The only thing it did not have was true DDS. As for their other products like Extermin8, Acceler8 and so on, they are great. I too have no association with ASNA and am not even a customer of theirs at this facility, but I have the upmost respect for the products which bear the name ASNA, and ultimately Mr. Ferguson. Not to mention his wonderfully charming and British accented (She is BTW) wife, Ann. -bret
