We're using Client Access Express V4R4 and were wondering if you can set the field exit key to repeat when you hold it down. I notice if I hold down a letter or number or something it repeats for as long as I hold it down. However, the Field exit key doesn't. Thanks, Heath

TTBOMK non-repetition is a property of the Field Exit key, and thusly can not be set. Slight Change of topic. On a similar note, I was wondering if I could change the properties of the BACKSPACE key 1.) To be non-destructive, and 2.) to be able to continue backspacing through fields. In other words, to have an emulated backspace key have the same properties as a dumb terminal backspace key..? Dave

Just went the to CA/Express page for V4R5 features and it included this upgrade note (near the bottom): http://www.ibmlink.ibm.com/usalets&parms=H_200-169 "Users can get either the Enter key or any Fn keys to repeat when held down." Unfortunately, it doesn't explicitly state "Field Exit" so it may not work. Might be worth a try :)

Try using char backspace - it seems like what you want.
