Highlights from an interesting story I read in Midrange Showcase magazine: "A very large AS/400 customer had 23 AS/400's located around the world. When the Y2K problem came up they decided to move to NT and powered up 12,000 NT servers to run their business. Things didn't go quite right and today, one year later, their AS/400's are back online. That company's name .... MICROSOFT. " Why doesn't IBM Marketing use this in their ad campaigns? Get in the trenches and fight. I just came from COMMON and didn't perceive IBM's new marketing (the little bit I saw) to be all that great. In a recent thread I saw "THIS IS WAR" (and I agree). IBM needs to deploy the troops.
