Hi, I have a situation where we have sepatate LPARs on one Iseries. We have defined DDM files that allow us to view PFs and LFs from one LPAR to another. Is there a way to use Query, or SQL in RPG to accessing to files in a different LPAR? We are experiencing problems when trying to use DDM files thru SQL. Any suggestions? Thanks Jim

Thanks for the link Joe. Quick question-When using Query, is there a way to define files from another LPAR so they appear as a PF or LF from within Query? I know one way would be to have a files copied to a libary on the local LPAR, and then within query point to the Lib/File. Can remote files be used within Query without first copying them to the local machine? Thanks Jim
