Go into Client Access properties to see if you have the Translate CCSID 65535 box checked. If not, check it, and retry. Dave

I will try that. Going out to customer site in a little while. You're talking about the file/properties in the "transfer to as400" icon within the client access group....right?

Here we go again. When trying to transfer a CSV file to the system, it craps out with the sql0104 error. ODBC is set to translate ccsid, naming convention is "*sys" and seperator is ",". Using the "Create database file" wizard in Client Access Express. This is failing on a V4R5 machine. I have another machine at my office that works fine V4R3. I foolowed all the steps referenced in the searches on Midrange Computing for "sgl0104" but no luck. Any thing else you smart people may know? Thanks.
