IPDS barcode problem

I have an application that uses the dds BARCODE keyword to print a code128 barcode. The barcode prints on a Page Laser 3116 just fine and scans properly. When I use the same application to print on an Infoprint21, the barcode prints, but is about an eighth of an inch shorter. It does not scan. Something is missing from the barcode when it prints on the Infoprint. It is always in the same place, where the number 50001 is located within the barcode. Looks like bars are missing where the zeros are. Is there some kind of data compression here? I've tried changing all the IPDS parms for the Infoprint, but nothing affects this. Anybody have any ideas?

The resolution of this printers could be different and that can make the barcode in wrong size and not able to be scanned. Some printers are possible to change resolution on.
