Default Printing Barcodes to a Sato printer from the Iseries

Has anyone configured a Sato Gl408e printer to an Iseries using TLAshford's Barcode 400 software for generating barcode labels. I have a number of Zebra printers which print fine, but I can't get anything. I have contacted TLAshford but they were absolutely no help at all. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I asked a co-worker who is familiar with this area. His response: Yes, I believe we have done this. Although I am not sure of the Sato Models in place at Vimco. My best guess is the M84PRO It is important to use Sato label definition types in TLAshford. We used type S8400. Then you need to "CALL SATO1024" in the RPG program that executes the label generation command. I believe we also used SATOWSCST as a customizing object in the device description. Those are the items that come to my mind to be checked. Obviously, one missed part of the puzzle nets a whole lot of nothing when dealing with two very different printer languages.
