Thread: File/field changing software

    Default File/field changing software

There are various software packages that will do that. Aldon's CMS will control your source and do everything you need. Most people, however, don't use Aldon's internal cross-reference, but use Hawkeye's Pathfinder seperately for that function. My company uses Softlanding's Turnover in conjunction with Hawkeye. Both CMS and Turnover have the capability to automatically use the Pathfinder files to make it's decisions. Check out: Aldon CMS Change Management System Softlanding Turnover Change Management System Hawkeye Pathfinder Program/file/field cross reference System None of these will automatically change them for you, but it can identify where the fields are used, then tell you which sources need to be re-compiled, even if it is because of a copy-book, etc. -dan
