Replacement for RTVDAT

RPG IV has fantastic date support and easy ability to switch between formats. Make a little RPG program or procedure that takes in a date and format variable and return a text field that you load with the %char function.

We are trying to use RTVDAT to automate changing the time forward/back for daylight savings. We got the message: Date to be converted not in range 1980-1999. Is there a replacement command for RTVDAT that uses dates after 2000? Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to do? If you are trying to set the iSeries to handle daylight savings, this can now be done automatically bt the operating system in V5R3.
