    Within CL, what is the best technique to use to see how many records are in a file? A code example would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi tjlcml. Don't forget the NBRDLTRCD value if you want to know total number of records in the file. Deleted records are only marked for use, but if you don't reuse deleted records or reorganize the physical file, they still take up disk space. -Mean 1
